Establishing the Queen of Peace Monastery in Squamish

Dear Brothers,

The Dominican Sisters are looking to the Knights for support in establishing the Queen of Peace Monastery in Squamish. As the right hand of the Church we are honoured to be given the chance to further God’s work. WDD Brother Ed and I had the opportunity to visit the Monastery during construction in January. The Monastery is now near completion; however there are a few items that the Sisters will need some assistance with. Sister Claire has compiled a wish list of items and actions needed to complete the Monastery. Brothers I ask you all to review the list and consider having your council adopting one or more of the items as your council’s project for this spring and summer.

Please ask if any of your council members can supply any of the items on the list.

Please also consider holding a Pancake Breakfast, car wash or other fund raising events in support of the Monastery.
