Last month, we started accepting applications for the 2012 Bishop Thomas J. Lobsinger Memorial Bursary Program. I encourage you to please promote this wonderful program by making announcements in your Council and Parish bulletins or through any other means you feel appropriate.

This bursary program is available to all Roman Catholic students residing in the province of British Columbia who are enrolling in their second or subsequent year of post secondary education at any legally recognized institute of higher learning in B.C. This year, we have a total amount of $15,000 (30 bursaries at $500 each) available to successful applicants. Your help in promoting this program will certainly enhance our aim of attracting applicants throughout the jurisdiction. Thank you for your support in helping our young people. I am confident that your positive response and action will bring the desired results we are hoping for.
