Germain Fortier update

Please find an update on our Foundation Chairman, Br. Germain Fortier. Please continue to pray for his quick recovery. If you have any requests for him, I ask that you hold back a few weeks to allow him to fully recover.

Worthy ES and brother Herb,

I visited Germain this morning at home and am pleased to report that Germain is making slow progress. He is glad to be home where there is peace and quiet. Hospitals are not fun places to stay for long.

He is under his Doctor’s care who has prescribed new meds and is monitoring him closely. The blurred vision has cleared, but he is still weak and tires easily. He has occasional dizzy spells. Thanks to all the prayers from brother knights there are no permanent effects to his brain and cardiovascular system.

He has resumed some of his duties, but on a very tentative basis. So please do not deluge him with requests.

In time Germain should return to his former self, but he needs time and your prayers.

Please remember to pray for Germain and all those who are sick and in distress.
